SUBMERSIBLE AND VERTICAL TURBINE PUMPS

The company named "TORRENT - TAMESIS PUMPS" is a constantly developing Greek industry dealing with the manufacture and the support, in the Greek and foreign market, of vertical turbine and submersible water pumps. The pumps are made by cast iron, bronze or inox, depending of the application.

The company is located in its own buildings (In a field of 10.000m²). in Argos, in Argolida Department. The company created in 1913, covering an activity on pumps, diesel engines, electric motors, industrial equipment.

Today Torrent Tamesis Pumps’ industry can manufacture vertical turbine water pumps from 10 to 8.000m³/hr, submersible water pumps from 5 to 500 m³/hr and all theirs spare parts.
Torrent Tamesis pumps’ Industry can manufacture special water pumps according to the demands of the establishments as for the form, the size and the quality of the materials.

In 2010 the company started producing Vertical Hollow Shaft MOTORS 7,5 to 400KW.

Also the company manufactures non-return valves with rubber blockage, with dimensions from DN40 to DN300 for many water applications.

The last years the company has been activating in the sector of "Subcontracting" and particularly in the production of metallic models (pattern) and the treatment of metallic and mold components.

The distribution of our products, in the internal market, is being through representatives and branches stores all over in Greece. We are suppliers to Big Industries, to Agricultural Units, to Municipalities, to Water Companies.

Foundry

Seeking high quality casting products , which mainly used in the manufacture of pumps and manufacture of machining precision metal parts, our company creates in 2000 a modern foundry called FOUNDRIES of ARGOLIDA ¨ IFESTOS SA ¨

For the operational check of the pumping group,TORRENT-TAMESIS PUMPS is equipped with a synchronous pump test room according to ISO 9906.

Having being certified since 2000 with ISO certification, TORRENT-TAMESIS PUMPS firmly believe that the excellent quality of the products and the service to it's clients are the determening factors for it's successful progress so far.
